Senior Video Editor

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Video Editor with a strong understanding of social media content (especially Instagram Reels) and hospitality storytelling.
This role requires someone who can create fast-paced, engaging, and trend-driven content while also handling brand films and long-form storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Video
Edit high-performing content for:
- Instagram Reels
- YouTube Shorts
- Meta Ads
Ensure videos are:
- Fast-paced and engaging
- Trend-aware (formats, transitions, audio)
- Optimized for retention and shareability
2. Creative Editing & Storytelling
Transform raw footage into:
- Scroll-stopping short-form videos
- Engaging brand narratives
- High-energy food and nightlife content
Strong understanding of timing, cuts, and visual rhythm is essential.
3. Motion Graphics & Enhancements
Add:
- Text overlays (strong typography focus)
- Transitions and effects
- Visual hooks in first 2-3 seconds
Must understand how to make content visually dynamic for social media.
4. Long-Form & Campaign Content
Edit:
- Brand films
- Event videos
- YouTube-style content
The ability to switch between short-form and long-form storytelling is important.
5. Shoot Understanding
Collaborate with shoot teams to:
- Suggest shot formats for reels
- Guide content capture based on edit requirements
- Think from a content-first lens, not just post-production
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Instagram reel trends and formats
- Excellent sense of pacing, music, and transitions
- Ability to create engaging, non-generic food content
- Strong storytelling ability
- Experience in hospitality / nightlife / lifestyle content preferred
