Blue Yonder is a leading multinational supply chain solutions company dedicated to helping businesses worldwide optimize their operations. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Video Editor to join our creative team and produce engaging corporate video content.
Role Overview
We are seeking a talented, fast, and self-motivated Senior Video Editor to join our
global marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of hands-on experience specifically editing corporate marketing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro with some motion graphics abilities in Adobe After Effects and photo editing experience in Adobe Photoshop. This role requires strong communication skills to work with marketing leads and an understanding of visual storytelling to seamlessly integrate existing footage with relevant stock footage from platforms like Adobe Stock to create powerful and compelling narratives. This is a remote position but requires a willingness to overlap work hours with the US Central time zone which is essential for effective collaboration. While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must be based in either Bangalore or Hyderabad, India. Excellent communication skills in English is a non-negotiable requirement.
Responsibilities
- Produce finished videos weekly, sometimes with little direction, sharing work regularly with marketing leads to ensure on-time delivery of approved videos.
- Edit high-quality corporate marketing videos quickly for a variety of purposes, including, but not limited to, explainer videos, product/solution overviews and demos, customer success stories / case studies, thought leadership videos, brand story / about us videos, event promos and recaps, social media shorts and ads, internal communications and HR videos, animated infographics / data visualization, and animated logos and title sequences. - Work independently to manage projects from concept to completion, including footage review, rough cuts, fine cuts, color correction, audio mixing, and final delivery.
- Proactively source, select, and integrate relevant stock footage from libraries like Adobe Stock to enhance existing footage and create compelling visual narratives.
- Collaborate effectively with content creators, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver videos that meet strategic objectives.
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to Blue Yonder's visual guidelines in all video productions.
- Incorporate feedback efficiently and iterate on edits as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and video editing technologies.
- Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and archiving.
Required Skills And Experience
- 7-10 years of dedicated experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing corporate marketing video projects, especially case studies and solution videos.
- Ability to produce videos fast! Finishing basic edits in hours rather than days.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in sourcing and seamlessly integrating stock footage from platforms like Adobe Stock to enhance storytelling.
- Proven experience in editing a wide range of corporate video content (e.g., testimonials, product demos, event highlights, internal communications, thought leadership).
- Strong understanding of video production workflows, from pre-production to post-production.
- Professional knowledge of audio editing and standards to create broadcast ready videos with narration, music, and sound effects when needed.
- Solid grasp of storytelling principles, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Proficiency in color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics (basic After Effects knowledge is a plus).
- Proficiency in photo editing to take raw captures to web-ready size and color standards using Adobe Photoshop.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are non-negotiable.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive and resourceful with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
Working Hours and Location:
- This is a remote role.
- Flexible timings, but flexibility to overlap working hours with US Central time zone is required for collaboration.
