Role Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to create compelling digital content for political campaigns, public outreach initiatives, and social media platforms. The role involves editing campaign videos, speeches, interviews, reels, short-form content, promotional films, and rapid-response videos while ensuring high-quality storytelling and visual impact. The ideal candidate should understand digital content trends, political communication, and platform-specific video formats to create engaging content that drives audience engagement and campaign objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Video Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Film Production, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in video editing, digital content production, media, advertising, political campaigns, or related domains.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, WhatsApp, and other digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, motion graphics, sound design, and visual communication.
- Ability to edit short-form content, reels, campaign creatives, documentaries, interviews, and event highlights.
- Knowledge of color correction, audio enhancement, subtitles, and platform-specific optimization.
- An understanding of political communication, current affairs, and digital campaign requirements is preferred.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
