About the Department:
The Financial Strategy department focuses on MIS reporting and strategic projects. It involves overseeing deliverables across corporate
strategy, business performance review, analysis of business and operating models, firmwide budgeting and cost controls, and
acquisition screening and industry & competitor analysis. With a focus on leveraging new age tools and technologies, it requires
expertise in scaling organizations, financial innovation, and partnering with C-level executives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Financial Planning:
- Develop and oversee the company’s financial planning framework, integrating advanced analytics, automation, and AI driven
forecasting models.
- Align FP&A processes with organizational goals, focusing on agility and adaptability in a rapidly evolving environment
2. Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Implement dynamic, driver-based budgeting and forecasting processes to adapt to market changes and business needs
- Leverage tools like Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, and Tableau for real-time scenario modeling and financial insights
3. Performance Management:
- Establish and track KPIs using advanced dashboards and visual analytics, ensuring real-time performance monitoring
- Conduct root cause analyses using predictive and prescriptive analytics to enhance decision-making
4. Data-Driven Insights & Analytics:
- Design frameworks for big data integration, utilizing tools such as Snowflake, Power BI, and Qlik for advanced financial
analysis
- Collaborate with data science teams to enhance financial models with machine learning algorithms
5. M&A and Growth Support:
- Lead financial modeling and valuation efforts for acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships
- Leverage AI-based tools to streamline due diligence and post-merger integration processes
6. Cost and Margin Optimization:
- Implement cloud-based cost management tools to monitor and optimize cost structures across service lines and
geographies
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies through automation and technology adoption
7. Technology Integration & Process Automation:
- Drive adoption of cutting-edge FP&A tools like Oracle EPM, Workday Adaptive Planning, and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Champion RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI in routine FP&A processes to improve speed and accuracy
8. Leadership & Talent Development:
- Build and lead a diverse, high-performing FP&A team with expertise in new-age technologies and analytics
- Create a culture of innovation, promoting upskilling in AI/ML, cloud, and data visualization tools
9. Stakeholder Communication:
- Present financial insights and recommendations to the C-suite, board, and investors using advanced visualization tools
- Act as a trusted advisor to operational and technology leaders, bridging finance and strategic decision-making
10. Digital Transformation:
- Partner with IT and digital teams to integrate financial systems with enterprise platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft
Dynamics, and ServiceNow
- Drive initiatives to digitize and modernize FP&A processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
11. Risk & Compliance: -
-Monitor and mitigate risks associated with data privacy, cyber threats, and regulatory compliance in financial processes.
Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, leveraging technology for real-time reporting and audits.
Prerequisites
▪ Strong leadership skills
▪ Analytical ability and quick thinking
▪ Proficiency in advanced tools like Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Oracle EPM (any of these)
▪ Digital Transformation: Experience in leveraging AI/ML, RPA, and big data for financial insights
▪ Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and oral)

Experience
15-20 years of relevant experience could be in domains of Finance/Strategy/FPA
Education
Any commerce graduate
Preferred: MBA/CA/CFA Charter holder
