Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements
- 15+ years experience working in operational risk, controls, obligation mgmt. including experience in control assessment and development
- Ability to distil, simplify and summarise complex regulatory information into crisp action plans.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor degree qualification in an aligned discipline
- Chartered Accountant / Legal / Compliance background
- Certifications in Risk and/or Quality is desirable
Key Accountabilities
- Ensuring that NAB’s risk mgmt. strategy, operational risk mgmt. and control frameworks are applied effectively in the GIIC;
- Advice and guidance on risk, obligations, events and control items;
- Compliance plans – assist to identify applicable obligations and design controls, evidence points and indictors to effectively monitor compliance;
- Performing risk and control reviews and regularly assessing impacts;
- Ensuring issues are known and resolved in a timely manner, lead gap assessment and treatment plan execution;
- Leverage skills form other specialist teams as needed and is suitable;
- Management of control environment through design, testing and mgmt. of controls
