Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Vendor Management Engineer, located in Coimbatore. The role involves developing and managing supplier relationships, leading procurement processes, and negotiating and managing contracts. The Senior Vendor Management Engineer will ensure adherence to quality standards, optimize costs, and analyze vendor performance. Collaboration with internal cross-functional teams will be required to align supplier capabilities with project needs.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills for assessing vendor performance and cost efficiency
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management for creating and managing vendor agreements
- Excellent Communication skills for maintaining collaborative relationships with internal teams and suppliers
- Experience in Procurement processes and best practices
- Knowledge of vendor compliance standards and quality assurance processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in vendor management or procurement roles in industrial or automation sectors is an advantage
