Role Description:
- UAT Planning & Strategy
- Lead UAT strategy, scope definition, timelines, and entry/exit criteria.
- Collaborate with business SMEs to define acceptance criteria and test objectives.
- Identify UAT risks, dependencies, and mitigation measures.
- Test Design & Execution
- Develop detailed UAT test scenarios, cases, and test data aligned with business workflows.
- Execute UAT test cycles across multiple releases, sprints, and enhancements.
- Perform functional, regression, business process validation, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate UI/UX elements, data accuracy, integrations, and overall business flow.
- Defect Management
- Log, track, and prioritize defects in collaboration with development and QA teams.
- Coordinate triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
- Re-test fixes and perform impact analysis.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between business teams, QA, and development.
- Facilitate UAT sign-offs and ensure business readiness.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare UAT test plans, cases, traceability matrices, and summary reports.
- Document gaps, requirement clarifications, and process improvements.
- Maintain strong testing documentation aligned with audit and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of UAT or Business Testing experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps delivery models.
- Ability to analyze business requirements, workflows, and functional mappings.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Experience with web and mobile application testing; API awareness is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
