We are looking for a Senior US Real Estate Accountant with strong experience in US real estate bookkeeping and syndication to support US‑based real estate investors and firms.
✅ Required Experience & Skills
- 2–6 years of US real estate accounting / bookkeeping
- Experience with real estate syndication and investor structures
- Strong understanding of LP / GP / Investor (IP) entities
- Hands‑on experience with:
- Investor reporting (income, expenses, capital & distributions)
- Bank & fund reconciliations (rent, capital contributions, expenses)
- Property‑level accounting (multiple properties & units)
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Online (mandatory) and/or Xero
- Understanding of 1099 / W‑9 and coordination with US CPAs
- Comfortable communicating with US clients and investors
- Willingness to work in US time zones
⭐ Nice to Have
- Experience with commercial assets (multifamily, office, retail, etc.)
- Exposure to property acquisitions, refinance, and audits
- Understanding of how property location impacts taxes and reporting
- Prior experience in an offshore accounting / outsourcing setup
