Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hyderabad. As a Senior UAV Pilot, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing UAV flight operations for testing, delivery, and deployment. Key tasks involve pre-flight inspections, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, data collection, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency. The role also includes training junior pilots, maintaining flight logs, and contributing to the development and testing of advanced UAV systems.
Qualifications
- Expertise in UAV piloting, flight planning, and conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections
- Understanding of aviation regulations, airspace management, and safety protocols
- Proficiency with UAV software systems, navigation tools, and data collection platforms
- Strong problem-solving abilities for technical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
- Leadership skills to train and mentor junior team members
- Detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in aeronautics, engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience working with autonomous or cargo UAV systems is a significant advantage
- Familiarity with flight regulations in India and global aviation standards
