Job Title: Senior SQL Developer (SSIS / ETL)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Developer with strong expertise in SSIS and ETL development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring high performance, reliability, and data integrity. The role requires hands-on experience in advanced SQL programming, database performance tuning, and production support while collaborating with cross-functional and global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS
Build and manage SSIS packages (Control Flow & Data Flow)
Implement ETL solutions with incremental data loads and transformations
Optimize database performance using advanced T-SQL queries
Handle error logging, debugging, and workflow automation
Manage SQL Server Agent jobs and scheduling dependencies
Perform database design, data modeling, normalization, and indexing
Conduct performance tuning using execution plans, Query Store, and DMVs
Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting, and RCA
Ensure database security, access control, and compliance standards
Collaborate with development teams and US stakeholders
Mandatory Skills:
Strong experience in SSIS & ETL development
Advanced SQL programming (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, CTEs, Joins, Window Functions)
ETL design, data transformation, and multi-source integration
SQL Server Agent Jobs, scheduling, and workflow automation
Database architecture, indexing strategies, and partitioning
Performance tuning, query optimization, and execution plans
Production support, incident management, and SLA adherence
Database security, roles, and encryption (TDE)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have Skills:
SQL Server Administration (installation, configuration, monitoring)
Backup & Disaster Recovery (RPO/RTO strategies)
Monitoring tools (SQL Profiler, Extended Events)
High Availability (Always On, failover clustering, replication)
Cloud platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, migrations)
DevOps for databases (CI/CD, version control, deployment pipelines)
