Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Gurugram for a Senior Travel Sales Executive.
We are looking for a highly experienced professional who can independently handle client interactions, design customized travel packages, and manage end-to-end bookings (flights, hotels, itineraries). This role is target-driven and requires strong sales capability along with in-depth travel knowledge.
Important Requirement (Please Read Before Applying)
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in travel sales is mandatory
- Hands-on experience with GDS systems such as Galileo (must-have)
- Candidates without relevant experience will not be considered
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound travel sales inquiries
- Design and sell customized domestic and international holiday packages
- Manage complete booking processes (flights, hotels, visas, itineraries)
- Provide expert destination guidance and travel planning
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Achieve monthly sales targets and revenue goals
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in travel sales (mandatory)
- Strong working knowledge of GDS systems (Galileo preferred; Amadeus/Sabre is a plus)
- Proven track record in closing travel sales and handling high-value clients
- Strong knowledge of global destinations, airlines, and hotel networks
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
