Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Travel Advisor role based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Travel Advisor will consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements, and design customized itineraries for destinations such as Europe, Japan, and Dubai. The role includes managing end-to-end travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transfers, tours, and visa documentation support, while coordinating with internal teams and external partners. The Senior Travel Advisor will handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits, provide clear travel advice, and resolve any issues before and during trips. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate booking records, tracking payments, upselling relevant services, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications
- Strong customer interaction capabilities, with proven skills in Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with diverse clients and partners.
- Hands-on experience with Travel Arrangements such as flights, hotels, tours, transfers, and visa-related documentation.
- Background working in a Travel Agency or similar travel operations environment.
- Knowledge of international destinations, especially Europe, Japan, and Dubai, and familiarity with group and FIT (free independent traveler) bookings.
- Ability to use travel booking tools, CRM systems, and standard office software; comfort with digital communication platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple itineraries and deadlines simultaneously.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in travel consulting or advisory roles; prior experience as a senior or lead advisor is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English and relevant local languages; additional foreign language skills are a plus.
