Job Description
The primary role of the traffic manager is to allocate and schedule creative resources based on project requirements and organizational priorities. The traffic manager collaborates with creative managers, project managers, department heads and other stakeholders to assess resource requirements, develop plans and allocate resources accordingly. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate resource records, tracking resource utilization, and identifying potential bottlenecks that may impact project timelines and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the allocation of internal marketing resources across projects to [BS1] optimize productivity.
- Review internal projects briefs to ensure all information has been properly filled out before project can be initiated
- Conduct resource capacity planning to assess and manage resource demands based on project priorities and objectives.
- Collaborate with department leads, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify resource requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Maintain a real-time view of team capacity and project status, balance workloads based on priority, deadlines, and availability.
- Track and report on resource utilization, analyzing data, and providing suggestions for resource optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience managing teams, budgets and schedules
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience with Adobe Workfront preferred
- Agency experience preferred
