Senior Test Engineer
Years of Experience: 3-4 Years
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using Selenium and Playwright, along with experience in accessibility testing, API testing, and performance testing. The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to identify and report bugs effectively. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in an Agile and Scrum environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated testing of applications using Selenium and Playwright.
- Perform accessibility testing to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Execute API testing to validate functionality and performance.
- Engage in performance testing to assess application responsiveness and stability.
- Identify, document, and track defects in the application.
- Report daily status updates to the lead and manager regarding testing progress and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency in Playwright (Deal Breaker Skill).
- Strong experience in manual and automation testing.
- Solid understanding of accessibility testing principles.
- Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with performance testing techniques.
- Proficient in Java programming language.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance testing tools.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation and performance testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
