Job Title: Software Testing
Designation: Test Engineer
Location: Bangalore, WTC 3
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our dynamic software testing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Salesforce - Sales Cloud and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications. This role requires a proactive approach to testing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce - Sales Cloud applications.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input on testability and quality aspects.
- Maintain and enhance automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
- Provide regular status updates on testing progress and results to project stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and Salesforce - Sales Cloud features to continuously improve testing processes.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce - Sales Cloud, including its features, functionalities, and best practices.
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Experience with performance testing tools.
- Understanding of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in software testing or Salesforce are a plus.
