About the Role
Senior Test Engineer – Enterprise Automation & Platform Quality
Primary Focus: Enterprise systems, automation frameworks, CI/CD, performance, and platform reliability.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer specializing in enterprise automation and platform quality to design scalable automated testing frameworks and ensure robustness across distributed enterprise systems.
Qualifications
Must Have
- 7+ years of experience in software testing with a strong automation focus
- Expertise in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and REST Assured
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, Gatling, etc.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps-integrated testing
Additional Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages
- Strong debugging and system-level troubleshooting skills
- Experience testing enterprise-grade distributed systems
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.
Key Responsibilities
1. Automation Strategy & Architecture
- Design and implement scalable automated test frameworks across UI, API, and backend layers
- Establish CI/CD-integrated test pipelines for rapid feedback and continuous validation
- Define automation standards, coding practices, and test data strategies
- Own regression, integration, and end-to-end automation suites
2. Enterprise System Quality Assurance
- Ensure reliability across distributed systems, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and microservices
- Validate performance, scalability, and resilience under production-like loads
- Implement security, compliance, and audit validation testing aligned with enterprise standards
- Conduct defect root-cause analysis and drive systemic quality improvements
3. Full-Stack System Testing
- Validate frontend components, backend services, databases, and integrations
- Build and maintain API automation frameworks for REST and GraphQL
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to shift quality left
4. Quality Governance & Release Assurance
- Define test coverage benchmarks and quality KPIs aligned with business impact
- Embed observability and monitoring validation into release cycles
- Act as the quality gatekeeper prior to production releases
- Contribute to long-term quality engineering maturity and tooling strategy
