Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer for a full-time, remote position. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and accuracy. You will be responsible for identifying test scenarios, creating test plans, executing them, and ensuring software quality through various testing frameworks and tools. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues will be vital, as will maintaining clear documentation and adhering to industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with Automation Testing, creating test scripts, and designing test strategies.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and other relevant programming languages for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of test management tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields; relevant certifications in test automation are preferred.
