Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Senior Tekla Modeler based in Bengaluru. The responsibilities include creating and managing Tekla models for structural steel and miscellaneous steel projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards like AISC and NISD. The role involves preparing and reviewing detailed shop and erection drawings, coordinating with internal teams and clients for project requirements, and identifying and resolving potential design or fabrication challenges. The Senior Tekla Modeler will also mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with fabricators and contractors to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures for modeling and detailing structural and miscellaneous steel
- Strong understanding and experience with AISC, NISD, and other applicable design and detailing standards
- Expertise in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings
- Problem-solving skills for addressing fabrication and erection challenges
- Team collaboration skills and experience in mentoring junior professionals
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams
- Highly organized, detail-oriented approach to manage project deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred
- Prior experience in handling large-scale structural steel projects is an advantage
