Role Description: The Senior Tekla Detailer/Editor with 4 year minimum and for Junior 1 year experience is a full-time on-site role based in Ghatkopar, Mumbai, responsible for producing and reviewing detailed steel fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures. This role includes preparing GA drawings, shop drawings with accuracy, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. The individual will coordinate with engineers, project managers to clarify design inputs, resolve technical issues, and maintain drawing schedules. Daily tasks involve managing revisions, maintaining documentation, supporting quality control, and mentoring junior detailers to uphold best practices in steel detailing.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures for steel detailing, including drawing production, and revision management.
- Solid understanding of structural steel design and fabrication practices, including main and miscellaneous steel components.
- Experience interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, codes, and standards relevant to industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Ability to review, edit, and quality-check detailed drawing with high attention to accuracy and constructability.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized documentation.
- Prior experience in a steel detailing company or fabrication environment, ideally in a senior or lead detailer/editor capacity.
- ITI/Diploma or Degree in civil, structural, or related engineering discipline is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with willingness to mentor junior team members.
