Senior Technology Lead – Product, Platform & Infrastructure
Experience: 5–9 Years
Location: Gurugram / Delhi NCR
Employment Type: Full-time
Company: KonProzTech Private Limited
Compensation: Competitive fixed compensation + performance-linked growth. ESOP participation will be considered after completion of 1 year, based on performance, ownership and contribution.
About the Role
KonProzTech Private Limited is the parent company that is building various products in the domain of tax, finance, consulting and compliance areas.
VIDUR is our 1st flagship product that is today live in 170+ cities with 11,000+ users growing with 30% MoM.
We recently also launched VMUS, AI native consulting tech platform for boutique consulting for India Inc., MSME and startups.
KonProz has built enterprise grade AI Agents for clients like Nirmal Bang, NexEdge capital in the domain of Insurance and Wealth sector.
We are looking for a Senior Technology Lead who can take end-to-end ownership of our technology — products, infrastructure, engineering team, scalability, security and technical decision-making.
This is not a role where you will only manage developers or attend sprint meetings.
We need someone who can look at the complete technology ecosystem, understand what can go wrong before it goes wrong, step into difficult situations when required and make sure the technology team keeps moving.
You will work closely with the founders and will gradually become the key technology owner across VIDUR’s products and enterprise solutions.
What You Will Own Product & Technology
- Take overall technology ownership across VIDUR’s web, mobile, AI and enterprise products.
- Understand the architecture and dependencies across existing products.
- Work closely with product, business and founders to convert business requirements into practical technology execution.
- Review architecture and make decisions around scalability, reliability and performance.
- Evaluate new technologies, AI models, tools and infrastructure where they can improve the product.
Infrastructure & Reliability
- Own cloud infrastructure, deployment architecture, databases, APIs, monitoring and system reliability.
- Identify infrastructure risks before they turn into production issues.
- Build proper monitoring, alerts, backups, redundancy and recovery processes.
- Handle critical production issues and exception scenarios with the team.
- Improve system performance, scalability and infrastructure costs as the business grows.
- Engineering Team
- Understand the technical capability required for each product and build the right engineering team accordingly.
- Allocate developers and technical resources based on product priorities.
- Conduct technical interviews and help us hire strong engineers.
- Mentor developers and improve engineering standards across the team.
- Identify capability gaps, performance issues and dependency risks early.
- Build a culture where engineers take ownership instead of waiting for instructions.
- Engineering Processes
- Establish strong standards around code quality, code reviews, documentation, testing and releases.
- Ensure that products are being built with long-term maintainability in mind.
- Create clear development, deployment and incident-management processes.
- Maintain visibility over technical debt and make sure critical issues do not keep getting postponed.
- Challenge technical decisions when there is a better or more scalable approach. Risk & Problem Solving
- A major part of this role is seeing problems early. We expect you to:
- Identify technology red flags before they become business problems.
- Think through failure and exception scenarios while building products.
- Ask “what happens if this fails?” before something goes live.
- Take ownership during production incidents instead of passing responsibility between teams.
- Understand root causes rather than applying temporary fixes.
- Balance speed of execution with stability and long-term architecture.
- Enterprise & Leadership Exposure
- As VIDUR grows, you will also represent the technology function externally. You should be comfortable:
- Joining technical discussions with enterprise clients.
- Understanding enterprise requirements around integrations, APIs, security, infrastructure and
- data.
- Explaining our technology architecture in simple business language.
- Participating in technology discussions with investors and potential strategic partners.
- Responding confidently to technical due-diligence questions.
- Working with founders on technology roadmap, product roadmap and future team requirements.
- You do not need to be a salesperson, but you should be able to represent the technology behind VIDUR confidently.
- What We Are Looking For
- We are looking for someone with 5–9 years of strong technology experience, preferably involving SaaS, AI products, fintech, tax-tech, consulting-tech enterprise software or high-scale B2B platforms.
You should have:
- Strong understanding of modern web application architecture.
- Good understanding of backend systems, APIs, databases and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience working with AWS / Azure / GCP or similar cloud environments.
- Understanding of system scalability, security, monitoring and reliability.
- Experience managing or mentoring developers.
- Ability to review architecture and code even if you are not coding every feature yourself.
- Experience handling production systems and real-world failures.
- Ability to conduct technical interviews and evaluate engineering talent (How has lifecycle
- changed from SDLC to ADLC).
- Strong communication skills for discussions with founders, investors and enterprise clients.
- Experience working with AI/LLMs, RAG, vector databases, document processing or AI-native products would be a strong advantage.
- More Important Than the Tech Stack
- We care significantly about how you think. We want someone who:
- Thinks like an owner aka family;
- Takes responsibility when something breaks.
- Challenges assumptions instead of blindly executing requirements.
- Can operate with ambiguity.
- Is comfortable making decisions.
- Flags risks early, even when nobody has asked about them.
- Can go deep into a technical issue when required.
- Understands both technology and its business impact.
- Is willing to take on difficult problems.
- Can build systems and teams, not just features.
- If your first question when something goes wrong is “Who is responsible for this?”, this may not be the right role.
- If your first question is “What happened, how do we fix it, and how do we ensure it does not happen again?”, we would like to speak with you.
- What Success Looks Like
- Within the first year, we would expect you to:
- Have a strong understanding of the complete VIDUR technology architecture.
- Reduce critical production and infrastructure risks.
- Create better visibility over system performance and reliability.
- Build stronger engineering processes.
- Identify and close important skill gaps within the technology team.
- Improve the quality and speed of product releases.
- Create a scalable technical roadmap for future VIDUR products.
- Become the go-to technology person for founders, enterprise clients and the engineering team.
Why Join VIDUR
- This role gives you the opportunity to take genuine technology ownership without being restricted to one engineering function.
- You will work directly with the founders, influence product and architecture decisions, participate in enterprise and investor discussions, build the engineering organization and help shape the next phase of VIDUR.
- For someone who demonstrates strong ownership and long-term commitment, ESOP participation may be explored after completion of 1 year.
- This is a role for someone who wants to build — not just manage.
