About The Role
iamneo is looking for a
Senior Technical SME Trainer to lead the trainer ecosystem, govern the overall technical curriculum, and ensure high-quality learning delivery across multiple technology domains. This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines deep technical breadth with strong curriculum, coaching, and governance experience.
Key Requirements
8+ years in senior IT or technical roles across
two or more domains such as infrastructure, application development, integration, data, or security
Experience at
solution architecture or technical architecture level
Exposure to
architecture governance, pattern libraries, and enterprise delivery
Prior team leadership or technical lead experience
8+ years in training, curriculum design, or technical education leadership
Experience designing
multi-track learning programs, trainer governance, and LMS-based delivery
Strong experience in
Training Needs Analysis (TNA), learning roadmaps, and blended learning
Required Technical Skills
Enterprise architecture: TOGAF ADM, Zachman Framework, C4 Model diagramming
Broad IT domains: infrastructure, on-prem and cloud, networking, application development, integration architecture, data platforms
IT Service Management: ITIL v4, Service Value System, practices, guiding principles
Agile & project delivery: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, PRINCE2, PMP-level awareness
Solution design: microservices, event-driven architecture, serverless, API gateway design, ESB vs API mesh
Integration concepts: REST, GraphQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, EDI, webhooks, iPaaS
Data management: data governance, data modelling basics, data quality principles, GDPR constraints in architecture
LMS administration & blended learning: Moodle, Canvas, SuccessFactors, SCORM, xAPI, cohort management, analytics dashboards
Training needs analysis: competency frameworks, skills matrix design, gap analysis, assessment rubrics
Team leadership: trainer coaching, performance management, QA review, content governance
Core Responsibilities
Lead and line-manage all SME Trainers, define quality standards, and own training delivery KPIs
Design and govern the full
technical training curriculum, including sequencing, prerequisites, and coherence reviews
Conduct
Training Needs Analysis for each cohort and define personalized learning pathways
Build and maintain the
iamneo Trainer Competency Framework
Mentor and coach trainers through observations, structured feedback, and certification cycles
Partner with business stakeholders and iamneo leadership to align training with organizational goals and learner outcomes
Own the
training quality assurance process, including audits, learner feedback reviews, and continuous improvement cycles
Manage the LMS including course setup, enrolment, progress tracking, dashboards, and integrations
