Technical Sales & Application Executive – Textile Auxiliaries

Role Overview
We are looking for a technically sound and commercially driven professional to promote Luminaire’s textile auxiliary portfolio across textile mills, dyeing houses and processing units.
The candidate will be responsible for conducting product trials, demonstrating applications, providing technical support and converting new business opportunities into long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit textile mills, dyeing houses and processing units to present Luminaire’s products.
- Conduct laboratory, pilot and bulk production trials at customer facilities.
- Recommend suitable products, dosages and process parameters based on customer requirements.
- Demonstrate product performance and explain its technical and commercial benefits.
- Troubleshoot issues related to pretreatment, dyeing, soaping, softening and finishing.
- Prepare detailed trial reports and follow up for product approval and commercial orders.
- Identify new leads, onboard clients and manage existing customer relationships.
- Coordinate with the R&D and production teams for product development and customised solutions.
- Track competitor products, pricing and market developments.
- Achieve monthly targets for mill visits, trials, product approvals and sales conversions.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or degree in Textile Chemistry, Textile Processing, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in textile auxiliaries, dyes, chemicals or textile wet processing.
- Strong knowledge of pretreatment, dyeing and finishing processes.
- Experience conducting independent mill trials and evaluating product performance.
- Strong communication, sales, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly across textile-processing regions.
