Booking.com is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager with a strong track record in delivering complex technology programs. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of large, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple brands within Booking.com FinTech Enterprise Applications (BKNG).
This role plays a critical part in translating strategic objectives into structured execution. You will ensure that complex initiatives — spanning SAP S/4HANA, finance operations, procurement, payments, and third-party integrations — are effectively planned, coordinated, and delivered with predictability, quality, and transparency while operating within a highly scaled and regulated environment.
As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will drive program execution across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on scope, priorities, and delivery milestones. You will oversee program governance and manage dependencies across systems, teams, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
This is an individual contributor role focused on delivery leadership rather than people management. You will be accountable for managing scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, budgets, communication, and delivery outcomes while ensuring teams remain aligned and focused on execution.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team at the Bangalore Center of Excellence. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead complex programs and drive delivery excellence while supporting our brands in achieving their strategic and operational goals.
B.Responsible
- Own and drive end-to-end delivery of large, cross-functional technical programs across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Define program vision, scope, milestones, success metrics, and delivery plans aligned with EApp org and Finance objectives across brands.
- Proactively identify, manage, and resolve dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across teams and systems.
- Ensure predictable delivery while balancing speed, quality, scalability, and compliance.
- Lead complex initiatives such as invoice processing, payments flows, procurement integrations, contract lifecycle management and financial data platforms
- Act as the primary orchestration layer between Engineering, Product, Finance, Compliance, Vendors, and Leadership.
- Drive clear, data-driven communication on progress, risks, timelines, and outcomes.
- Align diverse stakeholders on priorities, technical feasibility, and sequencing.
- Facilitate decision-making in ambiguous or high-pressure environments.
- Represent programs at senior leadership forums with clarity and confidence.
B.skilled
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Project management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 6-8 years of experience in managing big impactful projects.
- Strong project planning and scheduling (roadmaps, milestones, resource allocation)
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Advanced risk management and mitigation planning
- Scope management and change control
- Strong stakeholder management and expectation setting
- Technical Understanding
- Solid technical background in software development or IT systems
- Ability to translate technical requirements into business outcomes
- Experience working with engineering, architecture, and DevOps teams
- Understanding of system architecture, APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and dependencies
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to resolve conflicts and remove team blockers
- Excellent executive communication and reporting skills
- Ability to present complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience managing senior leadership and C-level stakeholders
- Strong documentation and project reporting skills
- Tools & Process Management
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana)
- Familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Slack)
- Experience with project dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks
- Knowledge of process improvement and delivery optimization
- Ability to align technical projects with business strategy
- Understanding of product lifecycle and business impact
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (nice to have)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) (nice to have)
- Background in data, AI or platform engineering projects (nice to have)
