What is the opportunity?
General Summary
- Manages complex technical programs, projects and initiatives affecting area goals and objectives. Drives the creation and management of cross-functional leadership teams; facilitating, coordinating and leading cross-functional teams to complete a variety of technical program plans, tasks, and milestones. Defines priorities and resources allocated to programs, projects and/or initiatives. Maintains an awareness of industry trends, business conditions and internal processes and practices to ensure the success of complex programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Drives the creation and management of multiple cross-functional leadership teams, inclusive of core business units, software divisions and/or third-party partners, and contractors. Develops, defines and overseas execution of critical program elements. Leads cross-functional priority setting and resource allocation relative to each program, project, and/or initiative.
- Develops and maintains complex technical programs that include diverse practices, services and/or initiatives. Facilitates, coordinates and leads cross-functional teams to complete multiple complex technical program and/or project plans, tasks and milestones. Ensures completion of all specific deliverables and tactical initiatives required to support initiatives. Facilitates partner alignment and maintain partner relationships with cross-functional groups to ensure successful completion of program deliverables. Identifies, escalates and ensures resolution of issues impacting successful execution of programs.
- Communicates multiple program initiatives, messaging, and status across core business units, software divisions and/or third-party partners. Develops and manages communication and coordination of cross functional teams across all areas. Defines and reports program roadmap, status, development issues and success metrics.
- Supports, manages, and influences continuous improvement of product/solution development lifecycle process, practices, and initiatives.
- Analyses and defines success metrics and value realization of multiple teams for key initiatives.

Education Required
- Bachelors (Tech) or equivalent
Experience Required
- 8 to 15 years relevant industry experience
Technical knowledge
- Has expert understanding of software development, security, virtualization, storage, networking, management, management, x86 architecture and other technical subjects as related to job
- Detailed knowledge of core product/solution features and systems plus dependencies between systems. Knowledge of module/service interoperability and architecture.
Communication (written/oral)
- Asks clear questions using oral and/or other methods of communication. Communicates information and clear instructions effectively both in written and oral form to program team. Able to present program updates to cross functional teams, partners and senior managements. Receives instruction, orders, or assignments well. Communicate ideas clearly and effectively in a group setting. Conveys complex ideas in a logical sequence that others can understand.

- Leads and sets the direction of a cross functional program team. Represents team in cross functional initiatives and able to influence cross functional team members and management to accomplish program goals. Project/Program management expertise
- Understands key program management principles and is able to apply them to current project. Identifies areas for improvement and drives process improvements. Able to independently identify issues and resolve them. Has thorough understanding of how to lead a program through the SDLC. Able to track and report on key performance indicators for program.
