Qualification: Graduate / B.Tech / M.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical Preferred) Industry Requirement: Must be from Transmission Line (TL) / Distribution Line (DL) Industry
Experience: 6–10 Years
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Sr. Manager – Technical with strong experience in Transmission & Distribution (T&D) line hardware materials. The role involves handling technical drawings, GTP preparation, type test coordination, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
The candidate should have practical knowledge of TL/DL hardware products and experience working with power utilities or EPC companies.
Key Responsibilities:
● Preparation and review of GA drawings and fabrication drawings
● Preparation and finalization of GTP (Guaranteed Technical Particulars) ● Understanding tender specifications and technical BOQs
● Handling type tests, routine tests, and related documentation
● Coordinating with testing labs and inspection agencies
● Providing technical support to sales, production, and QA teams
● Resolving technical queries raised by clients and consultants
● Ensuring compliance with IS/IEC standards
Required Skills:
● Strong understanding of Transmission & Distribution line hardware materials ● Knowledge of IS/IEC standards
● Experience in drawings, GTP, and type test documentation
● Good communication and coordination skills
● Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office
● Ability to work independently and manage technical responsibilities
