Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Head to oversee all technical operations at our specialty chemical manufacturing plant in Egypt. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Indian chemical sector and a proven track record of managing large-scale chemical processes, R&D, plant maintenance, and quality control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Oversight: Lead the plant's technical department, ensuring all chemical processes are optimized for efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Process Engineering: Supervise the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of specialty chemical production lines.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure the plant adheres to international safety standards and local Egyptian regulations.
- R&D Leadership: Drive product development and formulation improvements to meet market demands.
- Team Management: Mentor and lead a diverse team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in chemical engineering or applied chemistry from a recognized Indian institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 20+ years in the specialty chemical industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or plant management role.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of specialty chemical formulations (e.g., resins, additives, or agrochemicals) and international manufacturing standards (ISO, GMP).
- Communication: Excellent command of English
- Ready to Relocate to Egypt
