Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Consultant with deep expertise in X++ development and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&O). In this role, you will architect, customize, and implement enterprise-level D365 solutions while leveraging the Power Platform and Azure ecosystem.

What You Will Do
Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of D365 F&SCM solutions across multiple modules.
- Develop comprehensive Technical Design Documents (TDD), solution blueprints, and system integration specifications.
- Establish development best practices, perform code reviews, and ensure alignment with Microsoft extensibility standards.
- Mentor junior developers and technical consultants to foster team growth and capability enhancement.
Core X++ Development & Customisation
- Design, develop, test, and deploy complex extension-based customisations within D365 F&O environments.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports, forms, workflows, business events, classes, tables, and data entities using X++.
- Optimize application performance through code refactoring, query optimization, and database tuning.
- Manage environment provisioning, deployments, and product updates.
System Integrations & Azure Cloud
- Design complex integrations between D365 F&O and external systems using OData, custom services, REST/SOAP APIs, and the Data Management Framework (DMF/DIXF).
- Implement Azure-based serverless integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, and Data Factory.
- Manage source control, automated builds, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Git).
- Implement data migration strategies, including mapping, transformation, and validation.
Power Platform & Project Delivery
- Deliver integrated components using Power Apps (Canvas/Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Participate in the full implementation lifecycle, from requirement gathering to post-go-live support in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Provide accurate effort estimates for technical tasks, Statements of Work, and Change Requests.
What You Bring (Required Qualifications)
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10–15 years of hands-on D365 F&O / Dynamics AX development.
- Minimum of 3–4 end-to-end full life-cycle implementations of D365 F&O/AX as a Technical Consultant.
- Proven experience working in Onshore/Offshore distributed team models.
Core Technical Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in X++, D365 F&O architecture, and Microsoft's extensibility framework.
- Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, SQL Server, and Visual Studio.
- Proficiency with the Data Management Framework (DIXF), SysOperation framework, OData, and SSRS.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD), Azure Cloud Services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API management), and Azure Key Vault.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse and the Power Platform suite.

- Industry Knowledge: Experience with manufacturing, retail, or distribution implementations.
- Specialized Tech: Knowledge of the Electronic Reporting (ER) framework.
