Job details:
Chitrakala Interactive is a small independent game development studio currently working on our first project which is an Open World Exploration game for PC and Consoles.
Technical Artists at Chitrakala help meet our ambitious artistic goals with practical production solutions. The role carries with it the privilege of deep creative and technical liberty with the responsibility of translating the core holistic vision of the directors.
Chitrakala is a place built for individual dreamers that are afforded space to do their thing. Which means no micromanagement, flexible work hours outside the daily catch up with the team. As long you are delivering based on pre-communicated scopes, roadmaps and timelines, we don't care how and when you do it.
We've always believed that crunch is an outcome of bad production and not blind ambition. Having a life outside your work makes you a better game developer, your hobbies and your joys add to your capability of crafting authentic fun. We will always try our best to afford you a dignified work environment built on mutual trust and respect.
This also means we are primarily looking for individuals who are self motivated and understand the process of game development and their place within it.

- Experience with using industry-standard tooling for terrain painting, foliage painting, scene beautification, cubemap-authoring, etc.
- Familiarity with using different types of rendering elements (decals, material-blending, triplanar texturing, etc.)
