ROLE REVIEW:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Manager / Senior IT Manager to lead and oversee our IT infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in Windows and Linux server administration, network design, and IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
This role requires a hands-on leader with a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage teams effectively. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of all IT systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT:
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and optimization
- Administer core Windows services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Manage Linux environments, including user management, package management, and system security
- Design and manage network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless access points)
- Implement and maintain network security best practices, including intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Monitor system logs and network traffic to identify and mitigate security risks
- Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place
- Manage cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Programming Languages required - Flutter, Native, Node.js, React.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Laravel etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 7-8 years of overall experience in the IT Infrastructure Operations. At least 3-5 years of experience in a Lead/Manager or higher position in a reputed IT company.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
