Core Roles & Responsibilities
- Consultant Marketing & Sales: Proactively promoting consultant profiles to potential clients and Tier 1 vendors. This includes:
- Updating and polishing resumes to highlight key expertise.
- Broadcasting profiles through mass mailings, job boards (Dice, Monster, LinkedIn), and social media.
- Relationship Management: Building and nurturing a network of Prime Vendors and direct clients to secure consistent project requirements.
- End-to-End Placement Process: Managing the entire sales cycle, which includes:
- Sourcing Requirements: Identifying open positions that match the skills of the benched consultants.
- Screening: Interviewing consultants to assess their suitability for specific client requirements.
- Interview Coordination: Scheduling and preparing consultants for client interviews.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiating hourly rates and contract terms (such as Corp-to-Corp/C2C or W2) with vendors and clients to ensure optimal profit margins.
- Operational Tracking: Maintaining databases (ATS/CRM) to track submissions, interview status, and the start/end dates of current project assignments.

Key Skills & Qualifications
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the US IT staffing market, including tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099).
- Negotiation: Ability to secure high rates while balancing client budgets.
- Networking: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with vendor managers and consultants.
- Tools: Proficiency with job portals (Dice, Monster), LinkedIn Recruiter, and CRM/ATS software.
