Position Overview: Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist
We at NewSpace Research and Technologies (NRT) are looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist help us find great talent to build high-performance teams. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on Talent Acquisition at NRT, you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire recruiting lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR COE to define job requirements and craft detailed job and role descriptions.
- Work with the Talent Acquisition Head and HR Business partners to understand resource needs and to build hiring strategies to cater to the specific talent needs for the business.
- Engage with and source candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
- Conduct thorough screening and interview processes to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural alignment.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Establish and maintain a robust candidate pipeline to address both current and future hiring needs.
- Leverage applicant tracking systems and recruitment software to streamline the hiring process and maintain precise candidate data.
- Provide timely insights and MIS to business leads on hiring progress and trends.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Software, Electronics, IT) plus a master’s degree in human resources or a related field is preferred.
- 6 - 8 years of relevant experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in a mid-sized Hi-Tech Engineering / Automotive R&D / Aerospace company.
- Thorough knowledge of recruiting best practices and industry-leading recruiting platforms
- Must be skilled in the use of Applicant Tracking System, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks independently and simultaneously.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
