Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – Oil & Gas / Marine Engineering
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (Work from Office)
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)
Job Overview
We are currently hiring experienced Talent Acquisition Specialists with strong exposure to recruiting within the Oil & Gas industry. These roles focus on hiring engineering professionals across upstream, midstream, downstream, and marine engineering functions.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent while partnering closely with hiring managers and ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
We have 3 openings and below are requirments
Role 1 Required:
Experience: 17+ years
Domain: Oil & Gas recruitment (Non-IT background mandatory)
Role 2 Reequired:
Experience: 12–15 years
Domain: Oil & Gas recruitment (Non-IT background mandatory)
Role 3 Reqquired:
Experience: 12–15 years
Domain: Marine & Nautical Engineering recruitment within Oil & Gas
Key Responsibilities
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, professional networks, career portals, and employee referrals.
- Screen resumes, conduct candidate interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications to determine the best fit.
- Build strong relationships with candidates and provide a positive recruitment experience throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and set clear expectations.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate the selection process.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake discussion through offer stage.
- Maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment documentation.
- Track recruitment metrics and support improvements in hiring efficiency.
Required Experience
- 12–17+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment
- Strong experience recruiting within the Oil & Gas industry
- Non-IT recruitment background is mandatory
Domain Hiring Experience
Candidates should have experience recruiting for engineering roles such as:
- Reservoir Engineer
- Drilling Engineer
- Completion Engineer
- Petroleum Engineer
- Wells Engineer
- Geologist / Geophysicist
- Subsurface Reliability Engineer
- Marine / Nautical Engineering roles within Oil & Gas
Education
B.E. or MBA in Human Resources.
Key Skills
- Strong sourcing and networking capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment (intake to offer)
- Job description review, candidate shortlisting, and pipeline management
