Role Overview
We are building a strong in-house talent acquisition capability to support both niche technology hiring and structured non-IT/shared services recruitment mandates.
We are looking for a Senior Specialist Headhunter to drive niche and strategic hiring, with strong headhunting experience across niche IT roles and hands-on exposure to non-IT/shared services hiring.
The position demands deep market mapping, proactive headhunting, and the ability to close hard-to-fill and specialized positions. The role requires a strong focus on targeted search and passive talent acquisition, with a hiring mix of approximately 60% IT niche roles and 40% non-IT/shared services hiring mandates.
The role involves approximately:
• 60% niche IT hiring (AI, Backend, Full Stack, Cloud, Architecture roles)
• 40% non-IT/shared services hiring (including mid-level hiring mandates as required)
This position will play a foundational role in building the future TA hierarchy.
Key Responsibilities
A. Niche IT Hiring (Primary Focus – 60%), not generic IT hiring.
• Lead end-to-end hiring for high-complexity product engineering roles - such as Machine Learning / AI Engineers, Backend Engineers (Java/Go/Rust), Full Stack Engineers, and Cloud & DevOps professionals.
• Conduct competitor market mapping and passive talent identification.
• Use LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and direct search strategies.
• Drive structured technical screening discussions.
• Lead offer negotiation and closure.
• Reduce dependency on external agencies.
B. Non-IT / Shared Services Hiring (40%)
• Manage hiring for non-IT roles and shared services functions.
• Handle mid-level hiring requirements (no bulk hiring focus).
• Build structured talent pipelines for recurring mandates.
• Support hiring as per business requirements.
