Salary: ₹50,000–₹60,000 per month, based on experience and suitability

Probation Period: one to three months
About the Role
BNN Family Law Firm is looking for a highly resourceful and experienced Senior Talent Acquisition & HR Manager to lead recruitment for experienced advocates, managers, and other critical positions.
The immediate priority of this role is to identify and successfully recruit experienced family-law advocates who can independently handle complex matters, guide junior advocates, and contribute to the growth of the firm.
This is not a routine HR administration role. We need someone who can proactively identify passive candidates, build professional networks, conduct direct outreach, evaluate senior talent, and successfully move candidates from initial contact through joining. The person will also support recruitment and senior HR requirements across BNN Family Law Firm, Roots & Us, and Kanasu.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for experienced advocates, managers, and other priority positions.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies rather than relying only on LinkedIn, Naukri, or incoming applications.
- Identify candidates through legal networks, professional referrals, bar associations, court networks, direct outreach, recruitment platforms, and agencies.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Screen candidates thoroughly for experience, capability, professional conduct, compensation fit, and long-term suitability.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, reference checks, offers, negotiations, and joining.
- Create clear hiring reports showing candidates identified, contacted, screened, interviewed, rejected, offered, and joined.
- Manage probation reviews, employee performance processes, and professional-development discussions.
- Create, document, communicate, and enforce company policies relating to attendance, leave, conduct, confidentiality, performance, and workplace standards.
- Guide and supervise junior HR or administrative employees handling routine onboarding, attendance, payroll inputs, and employee documentation.
- Support the founders and managers with senior hiring decisions, performance concerns, disciplinary processes, and workforce planning.
First 90-Day Priorities
- Understand and document the profile required for an experienced family-law advocate.
- Develop a practical sourcing and outreach strategy.
- Build a credible pipeline of relevant advocates and senior candidates.
- Conduct direct and referral-based outreach to passive candidates.
- Present qualified candidates with clear written evaluation notes.
- Move suitable candidates through interviews, references, negotiations, and offers.
- Successfully close at least one important legal or leadership hire, or demonstrate a strong and verifiable pipeline progressing toward closure.
- Establish a clear recruitment tracker and weekly reporting process.
Performance Areas
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Quality and relevance of candidates sourced
- Ability to identify and engage passive candidates
- Speed and effectiveness of senior hiring
- Interview-to-offer and offer-to-joining conversion
- Retention and suitability of selected candidates
- Accuracy and consistency of recruitment reports
- Quality of probation and performance-management processes
- Implementation and enforcement of company policies
- Ownership, confidentiality, judgment, and follow-through
Performance incentives may be provided when priority candidates successfully join and complete the required retention period.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources
- Demonstrated success recruiting experienced, specialized, or leadership-level candidates
- Ability to source candidates beyond standard job portals
- Strong interviewing, assessment, negotiation, and candidate-closing skills
- Excellent professional networking and relationship-building abilities
- Strong documentation, reporting, and follow-up skills
- Experience creating or administering HR policies and performance processes
- Ability to handle confidential employee and compensation information
- Strong communication skills in English and Kannada
- Confidence working directly with founders and senior professionals
- Proficiency with recruitment platforms, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and applicant-tracking systems
Experience recruiting lawyers, professional-services employees, healthcare professionals, consultants, or other specialized talent is strongly preferred.
Important
This is a senior, hands-on recruitment position and not an entry-level HR role. The person must personally source, engage, assess, and close difficult candidates rather than only posting jobs and coordinating interviews.
Confirmation of employment after probation will depend on the achievement of documented recruitment and HR deliverables.
