Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior System Test Engineer with strong expertise in industrial automation, PLC programming, motion control systems, Servo Drives, and VFD commissioning. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automation systems in manufacturing or industrial environments.
The role requires strong technical capability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning of industrial automation systems.
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for machine automation and control applications.
- Configure, commission, and optimize Servo Drives and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Implement and troubleshoot motion control programming for servo-based systems.
- Conduct functional testing, integration testing, and performance validation of control systems.
- Analyze system failures, identify root causes, and provide corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design, electrical, controls, and commissioning teams during project execution.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and commissioning records.
- Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in configuring and commissioning Servo Drives and VFDs.
- Strong experience in motion control programming within PLC environments for servo drive applications.
- Good understanding of industrial automation systems, control logic, and electrical systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting automation and control-related issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
