In this role candidate will have responsibilities for Cloud operations support of our OpenStack and Kubernetes Clouds. You will utilize your troubleshooting skills to proactively analyze and resolve production problems. Working with other operations support teams as well as our Cloud tenants to maintain maximum stability, performance, and security for our Cloud environments which hosts both Virtual Network Functions and application VMs. This role will partner with various teams in development, architecture, and project management to roll out technical enhancements, migrations, and expansion projects associated with our Cloud.
Roles and responsibilities:
Operations support of OpenStack and Kubernetes Cloud infrastructure
Troubleshoot and resolve production problems
Collaborate with partner Cloud DevOps teams on projects, enhancements, and issues
Proactively work on identifying issues across the environment: ensure that those issues are documented and effectively addressed
Drive automation and efficiency initiatives
Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels
Qualifications:
Overall experience 9+ Yrs of experience
Looking for experience on Linux system admin and OpenStack or Kubernetes experience.
Advanced knowledge in supporting one or more of the following areas: Linux, Cloud Operations, Kubernetes, Ceph, Software Defined Networking, Virtual Network Functions, scripting.
Bachelor of Science degree, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math or equivalent experience.
