We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer with 5+ years of experience in managing and supporting enterprise applications. The role involves monitoring application performance, troubleshooting production issues, analyzing logs and error messages, and ensuring smooth operations of critical business systems. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, manage user access, and drive continuous improvements in application stability and support processes.
Should have 4+ years of experience with previous experience in Production Support Projects.
· Flexible to work in 24X7 shifts.
· Flexible to work from office 3-5days work week.
· Ability to analyse system logs, error messages, and other data to identify patterns and trends and triage issues.
· Hands-on working knowledge of SQL, React JS, Node JS
· Strong expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript with an understanding of object-oriented concepts.
· Experience in developing responsive, optimized, cross-browser applications.
· Ability to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality and maintainable code.
· Solid experience in Node.js (Express.js / Next.js) for backend development.
· Hands-on with NPM, Webpack, build optimization, and familiarity with TypeScript.
· Proficiency with REST APIs and backend integration.
· Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda (serverless architecture).
· Strong understanding of AWS services – API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines (AWS Code Pipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
· Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
· Proficient with browser debugging tools.
· Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
· Ability to build reusable components and libraries for future use.
· Knowledge of Spark SQL, Python, ADB notebook, and Azure services would be an added advantage.
· Working knowledge of ITSM tools and schedulers.
· Understanding of any one of the scripting tools, Perl/Python/UNIX Shell.
· Awareness of Support Process and best practices.
· Inform stakeholders in case of any failure or SLA miss. Involve the appropriate team to debug & fix the issue.
· Should have good written and verbal communication skills.
