- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across Windows, Microsoft 365, Citrix, and virtual desktop environments
- Lead, coach, and support first-line engineers, improving team capability and service delivery standards
- Manage and prioritise IT support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Serve as the main escalation point to UK-based IT teams, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution
- Administer user accounts and access across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related systems in line with security policies
- Manage end-to-end user lifecycle processes including onboarding, moves, and offboarding
- Configure and maintain IT equipment including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and VOIP telephony systems
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and ensure secure, compliant handling of equipment lifecycle and disposal
- Proactively identify and resolve recurring issues, driving continuous improvement across IT services
- Support office growth, infrastructure upgrades, and evolving business needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a senior IT support role within both on-site and remote environments
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals
- Experience with endpoint management tools such as Intune and familiarity with security best practices
- Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting across endpoints, infrastructure, and user access environments
- Experience supporting virtual desktop technologies (e.g. Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop) and VOIP systems
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience, with the ability to develop junior team members
- A proactive, self-sufficient approach with confidence in acting as the local IT owner
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both local users and global IT teams
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing demands
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering a high-quality user experience
Desirable:
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL, or Azure Fundamentals)
- Experience within logistics or warehousing environments
- Previous experience working as part of a global IT function
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a critical IT function within a growing business, where you will have real impact on service delivery, team development, and operational success.
