Job details:
About DUSQ. DUSQ builds a closed-loop neuro stimulation wearable for sleep. The device sits behind the ear and combines non-invasive vagus nerve stimulation (nVNS) with transcutaneous galvanic vestibular nerve stimulation (tGVeNS), driven by onboard PPG and motion sensing. It is CDSCO Class B certified, with a US FDA 510(k) pathway planned. We are a small, fast-moving team shipping real hardware into people's hands.
You will own how DUSQ gets built: sourcing the components, qualifying suppliers, controlling
BOM cost, and keeping the wearable and its charging cradle flowing from parts to finished
device.
What you'll do
• Own sourcing and procurement across the three PCBAs, the enclosure, and the charging cradle
• Manage the BOM: cost tracking, should-cost analysis, and volume pricing against benchmarks
• Qualify and manage suppliers and distributors, balancing IC-strong and passives-strong sources
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQs, and payment terms
• Work with contract manufacturers / EMS on availability, kitting, and build readiness
• Manage lead times, buffer stock, and component obsolescence and end-of-life risk
• Maintain approved vendor lists, alternates, and a second-source strategy for critical parts
• Support traceability, supplier quality, and change control for a CDSCO Class B device
• Own inbound logistics, freight, and customs clearance for imported components
What we're looking for
• Degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, or related, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in electronics or hardware procurement and supply chain, ideally consumer electronics or
medical devices
• Strong BOM cost management, should-cost analysis, and negotiation
• Hands-on sourcing of electronic components (ICs, passives, connectors) and mechanical parts
• Experience with distributors (Digi-Key, Mouser, Arrow, LCSC), manufacturer-direct channels, and
contract manufacturers / EMS
• Comfort with lead times, MOQs, component lifecycle, obsolescence, and second-sourcing
Bonus points
• Medical device supply chain, component traceability, or ISO 13485 supplier quality
• Wearable or small-form-factor hardware
• Import, export, and logistics for India (customs, duties, freight)
- ERP / inventory systems and part-intelligence tools (Octopart, SiliconExpert)
