Role Description As a Senior Supplier Quality professional at Raptee.HV, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving the quality performance of suppliers supporting high-voltage electric motorcycle production. In this full-time, on-site role based in Arakkonam, you will evaluate new and existing suppliers, define quality requirements, and ensure adherence to specifications and regulatory standards. You will lead supplier audits, manage nonconformities, implement corrective and preventive actions, and track supplier KPIs to drive continuous improvement. The role includes close collaboration with engineering, procurement, production, and quality teams to resolve issues, qualify new components, and support launch activities. You will also contribute to developing and maintaining supplier quality processes, documentation, and best practices that align with Raptee.HV’s innovation-focused culture.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Quality Management, with experience assessing and developing supplier capabilities.
- Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, including inspection methods, testing procedures, and corrective / preventive action (CAPA) management.
- Expertise in Quality Management, including application of quality standards, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., ISO systems, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Background in automotive, EV, or related manufacturing environments, preferably with experience in high-voltage or powertrain components.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in supplier quality roles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, use quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, root cause analysis), and prepare clear quality reports.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and on-site with suppliers when required.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
