Role Description
The Senior Subject Matter Expert – French is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. Responsibilities include designing and updating the French curriculum, creating engaging learning materials, and providing academic support for teachers. The role also involves reviewing assessments, conducting training sessions for educators, assisting with content quality checks, and staying updated with best practices in French education. The expert will collaborate with multiple teams to deliver streamlined, high-quality language education across the network of schools.
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in French language, including grammar, vocabulary, and fluency in both spoken and written French
- Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and creating teaching content for K-12 education
- Strong academic research skills and proficiency in developing assessments and engaging lesson plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and support educators effectively
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in French, Linguistics, Education, or a related field
- Prior experience as a French language teacher or subject matter expert, preferably in the K-12 sector
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to diverse educational needs
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for content creation and delivery is a plus
