About us
DACI Utilities Engineering Consultancy Ltd is a UK-based engineering consultancy delivering multi-utility infrastructure design across electric, gas, and water networks. The company also operates a dedicated EHV (Extra High Voltage) engineering division, supporting complex electrical infrastructure and grid connection projects across the UK.
What you’ll do:
- Lead structural design and analysis for new and existing substations.
- Collaborate with electrical and civil design teams to develop integrated designs.
- Review and approve technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with UK standards, health and safety regulations, and client requirements.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered or near-Chartered Engineer (IStructE, ICE, or international equivalent).
- Proven experience in substation or heavy infrastructure design.
- Strong understanding of Eurocodes and British Standards, or willingness to adapt quickly.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively with a UK-based, multi-disciplinary remote team.
