About The Role
We're looking for a Senior Strategic Operations Associate to help us scale Uber for Business, one of the most dynamic business units at Uber. The role is focused on accelerating growth in Uber for Business's self-signup channel in APAC, a region with some of our fastest-growing markets. It will require strong cross-functional partnership to continuously align strategic vision and fearlessly drive execution.
In this role, you will get to own and execute high-impact strategic initiatives that will drive growth for Uber for Business across multiple markets, including but not limited to ANZ and India. You will partner with regional leaders and functional counterparts to deliver elevated experiences to business customers and their employees.
What The Candidate Will Do
- Growth strategy and launch - Partner with the Global teams in Ops, Marketing, Product, and Support to define and launch new growth initiatives for key APAC markets.
- Program management - Manage the execution of a portfolio of growth initiatives in partnership with cross-functional partners (Product, Marketing, Support, Sales operations, etc.). Where appropriate, collaborate with stakeholders to tailor global initiatives to the regional context.
- Analytics - Use your analytical skills to identify growth opportunities and drive strategy through business insights
- Build and maintain reporting to track progress across a variety of top line and operational metrics for the region
- Communicate findings and insights to diverse audiences including Uber for Business leadership and cross-functional teams in Monthly Business Reviews or other forums
- Market intelligence - Monitor macro and competitive trends in key APAC markets, and develop recommendations for how to respond - through commercial levers, product innovation, etc.
- Be a subject matter expert - Become an expert on the Uber for Business self-serve product and the SMB segment, and leverage your expertise to shape the agenda for regional growth.
What The Candidate Will Need
- 4+ years of experience in project/program management, operations, or related field
- Experienced SQL user or similar query language
- Bachelor's degree

- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience managing meetings and presentations with senior leaders
- Analytical thinker, with experience using data to drive business decisions
- Strong business acumen, with experience evaluating a line of business and understanding how to drive commercial growth
- Strong organization and project management skills, including ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects and processes simultaneously
- Skilled in synthesizing information quickly to distill key takeaways, and to weave insights into a compelling story that clarifies and inspires
- Experience building deep relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, anticipating their concerns and successfully advocating for your priorities
- Comfort addressing ambiguity, for example, shifting priorities or unfamiliar problems
- An ability to identify new sales use cases, playbook findings, and share out with regional teams to gain adoption and accelerate growth
- B2B Experience is an asset, but not required
