We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Senior Account Manager to manage and grow strategic enterprise accounts within the IT Services and Consulting domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering strategic value to customers.
This role requires strong stakeholder management skills, business acumen, and the ability to align technology solutions with client business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Engagement
- Build, manage, and grow relationships with key enterprise accounts and CXO-level stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client business challenges and recommending suitable IT solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth.
- Manage account escalations and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify and drive new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.
- Lead proposal creation, pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and deal closures.
- Drive account mining, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities to maximize account potential.
- Collaborate with presales, delivery, and technology teams to deliver tailored business solutions.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends, customer business needs, and competitor activities to proactively position solutions.
- Contribute to service offering enhancements and go-to-market strategies.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide junior account managers and business development team members.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery excellence.
- Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder communication.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and account performance metrics using CRM tools.
- Provide regular updates on account health, risks, opportunities, and revenue projections to leadership teams.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 7+ years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, or IT Services Sales.
- Strong experience managing enterprise accounts within IT Services or IT Consulting organizations.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of IT services, consulting, and technology-driven business solutions.
- Ability to manage complex deal cycles and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Strategic thinking with a strong client-first approach.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
