Role Description The Senior STEM Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Belgaum, responsible for delivering high-quality STEM learning experiences to K–12 students. This role includes planning and conducting hands-on lessons in robotics, coding, electronics, drones, and related STEM topics, using structured curricula and activity-based learning methods. The Senior STEM Educator will design lesson plans, develop learning materials, and adapt teaching strategies to meet varied learning needs and age groups. Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating classroom sessions, mentoring students on projects, assessing learning outcomes, and maintaining a safe, engaging lab environment. The role also involves training junior educators, collaborating with school partners and parents, and contributing to continuous improvement of STEMx programs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience in K–12 or youth-focused STEM instruction.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and curriculum development skills to structure engaging, hands-on STEM activities.
- Candidates should possess clear, empathetic Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and school stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Training and mentoring skills to guide junior educators and support professional development.
- Relevant experience in robotics, coding, electronics, drones, or 3D printing is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Engineering, Science, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is considered.
- Ability to manage classrooms, handle diverse learning needs, and create inclusive, safe learning environments.
- Comfort with educational technology, learning platforms, and basic troubleshooting of STEM equipment.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in a full-time on-site setting, and willingness to work with school schedules and events.
