We’re hiring at Inovalon: Senior Staff Engineer — Cloud & Serverless
We’re looking for a Senior Staff Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strong engineering judgement, leadership, and the ability to influence across teams.
You’ll be someone who can:
- Make sound architecture and project decisions with over 15 years of experience.
- Assess trade-offs across cost, capability, scalability, and complexity
- Explain complex technical concepts clearly and mentor junior engineers
- Lead and support engineering teams, raising the technical bar
- Partner closely with product teams to turn business needs into effective technical solutions
Technical experience we're looking for:
- Strong AWS experience, ideally with serverless technologies such as Lambda and API Gateway
- Strong software development experience, ideally Python and TypeScript
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
- Broad cloud development experience and strong architectural understanding
- This is a role for someone who can set technical direction, influence decisions, develop people, and deliver pragmatic cloud solutions.
