Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Staff Nurse at NAAM Hospitals in Salem. The Senior Staff Nurse will provide high-quality patient care by performing clinical assessments, administering treatments, and monitoring patient progress. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior staff, ensuring adherence to healthcare standards, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining patient records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in clinical nursing skills such as patient assessment, administration of treatments, and medical equipment operation
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support junior nursing staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records and managing multiple tasks
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work cohesively with healthcare teams and liaise with patients and families
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and best practices
- Valid nursing license and a minimum of 5 years of professional nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent; advanced certifications in specialized care are a plus
- Compassionate and patient-focused, with a commitment to delivering the highest standard of care
