About the Role:
The Senior Accountant will participate in monthly and quarterly general ledger accounting activities in compliance with U.S. GAAP, monthly consolidations, internal management reporting, and annual external reporting with minimal oversight. This role will also support international statutory reporting and local compliance requirements for entities across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland.
In addition, the Senior Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reporting deliverables, supporting external audits, and assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. As part of this role, you will have cross-functional opportunities to partner with various levels of management within the company to ensure accurate accounting treatment, reporting, and disclosure of transactions across both U.S. GAAP and local statutory frameworks.

What You'll Do:
- Prepare and/or review balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analyses
- Prepare and/or review routine journal entries as part of a timely, efficient, and accurate monthly financial close process
- Prepare complex account reconciliations, flux analyses, and financial reporting schedules
- Assist with monthly consolidations and intercompany accounting across domestic and international entities
- Support statutory financial reporting, local audits, and compliance requirements for international entities, including the Netherlands, Belgium, and Poland
- Partner with external advisors and auditors on statutory filings, financial statement preparation, and audit requests
- Participate in the ongoing development of accounting policies, procedures, and operational strategies
- Drive process improvements and automation opportunities across accounting and reporting processes
- Prepare and/or review Statements of Cash Flows for domestic and international entities
- Prepare and reconcile detailed records of equity transactions, including stock issuances, stock option exercises, and stock-based compensation
- Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Payroll, and external partners on accounting-related initiatives and projects
- Provide detailed schedules and support for external audits, including audit-ready documentation and financial statement support
- Prepare monthly variance analysis of actuals to budget, reconcile significant differences, and communicate findings to management
- Assist with technical accounting research and documentation under U.S. GAAP, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or higher, with knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience supporting a public company and/or public accounting firm.
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Big 4 experience strongly preferred
- CPA strongly preferred (or local equivalent certification for international candidates)
- Experience supporting international entities, statutory reporting, or multi-entity consolidations preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for collaboration internally and externally
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical accounting foundation and analytical mindset
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proven success working with financial systems and reporting tools
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
- Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive process improvements proactively
- Experience working in a global environment with cross-functional teams is a plus
