Must-Have Skills:
SQL Server & T-SQL
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong expertise in T-SQL development (stored procedures, functions, triggers, CTEs, temp tables).
- Deep understanding of query optimization, indexing, and execution plans.
- Experience handling transactions, locking, blocking, and deadlocks.
SSIS / ETL
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Expertise in:
- Data Flow & Control Flow design
- Package configurations & parameters
- Error handling & logging frameworks
- Incremental/delta load strategies
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources (SQL, flat files, APIs).
Job Scheduling & Support
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server Agent Jobs (creation, scheduling, troubleshooting).
- Strong experience in production support and incident resolution.
Data Management
- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and transformation.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension models).
