Job Description
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare VAT returns for Middle East region with strong analytical skills
- Perform data quality checks on a daily/ weekly basis for completeness and accuracy; coordinate follow-ups as needed
- Perform tax reconciliations and prepare customs’ reconciliation reports to ensure data accuracy, perform quality and liability comparisons
- Work with business in understanding the queries and resolving them with respect to VAT
- Update control checklists and engage with the business teams to ensure governance including checks on the quality of returns
- Assist in VAT return submission & payments as per the set deadlines
- Assist in the tax refunds process
- Support in monitoring changes in tax laws/regulations and assessing the impact on the organization’s operations
- Support in assessing tax compliance requirements for new projects
- Support audit-related data collection and response preparation
- Support change through transition of work for Clients from UAE location to global center including support in executing the timely and quality completion of work
Skills & Competencies
- Technical knowledge of tax laws and compliance
- Analytical mindset with a structured and detail-oriented approach
- Fluency in English

- Open and adaptable attitude, embracing diverse challenges in a supportive and dynamic environment
Educat Ion & Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in UAE VAT and Indirect Tax compliance.
- Strong foundational understanding in UAE VAT and Indirect tax compliance with adequate practical experience
- Familiarity with tax preparation and tools knowledge is preferred
- B.Com/M.Com/ MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred) with 3 to 5 years’ experience.
